Overview
dstl asked us to live stream their Technical Symposium following our work with the Ministry of Defence, hosted at Portsmouth University. Much of the content of the event was classified, so this project required not only live production for multiple rooms across multiple days, but a highly specialist event platform and streaming via AWS.
Challenges
The big challenge with this event was that the content needed to be ultra secure, with tight login restrictions for employees watching. We streamed to AWS to allow for maximum security customisation, ensuring streams were not accessible outside of the site and content was not able to be duplicated. Even the slides arrived with extra encryption and we followed a strict data protection protocol during the project.
Outcomes
Another successful multi-day, multi-stream event which ticked all the security boxes and delivered a high end, custom event platform for our client.
