Overview
We have now streamed the annual Sustainable Plastics Live / GRIPS event for three years in a row, hosting 2021 and 2022 virtually, before producing 2023’s event on-location at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
The streams were hosted on events platform CVENT, consisting of multiple days, rooms and sessions bringing together industry leaders in sustainable plastics and the plastics industry as a whole.
Challenges
The GRIPS virtual events were amongst the most complex we have run, with 100’s of speakers dialling in remotely, back-to-back and simultaneous sessions, across multiple days, these events have been a true showcase of the skill and expertise of our production crew. Each session consisted of keynotes speakers, slides, panels, Q&A as well as videos, product showcases and interviews.
To ensure the ultimate flexibility, remote speakers joined us via Zoom to our remote production studio, where we were able to welcome and brief them before going live. Each show was custom built with layouts, branding and graphics designed especially for the content of the particular session, including animated stings and intro/outros.
Outcomes
We delivered on every aspect of the event, first virtually and then physically in 2023, to the highest standard for our clients. The online streams racked up more views and engagement than those in-person, elevating the quality and viewer experience, and making the decision to stream a no-brainer. We look forward to working on this event again in 2024!
