Overview
The UK National Quantum Technologies Showcase explores the expanding landscape of quantum technology commercialisation and industrial advancement in the UK.
Hosted live virtually in 2021, with hybrid events reinstated for 2022 and 2023 in prestigious London venues the QE2 and the Business Design Centre.
Each event consisted of multi-day, multi-room sessions with addresses from the Minister for Environment.
Challenges
As with any large scale multiday, multi-room event, logistics and planning are key to making the stream a success. For the hybrid events, we liaised closely with the venues to ensure a smooth set up and delivery on the day. The virtual events required multiple speaker briefings in advance to demo slides, check tech and rehearse running orders.
Outcomes
Three years of successful showcases, delivered both virtually and from a physical location, to a happy and engaged audience online.
