Challenges

Streaming three different shows across three days was a tall order because each had their own unique requirements. Rehearsals were absolutely key, and we ensured we were ready and set up in advance of the production companies arriving so our vision mixers could watch the dry run throughs to get a feel for the shows, study the call sheet and practice their cutting. We worked closely with the directors to understand the pace and emphasis needed at different parts, and to ensure the finished stream could do the cast, and paying audience, justice in a live environment.

Outcomes

The shows were a huge success both in-person and online, drawing a strong paying audience on the platform. What’s more, the recordings were available for each theatre company post-event so the could showcase their work even further.

Thank you so much for a brilliant week in challenging circumstances. I'm delighted with how it has gone and how things worked out.
